Running a YouTube channel alone is basically like juggling flaming swords - you’re gonna drop something eventually & probably really hurt yourself. When you’re knee‑deep in scripting, editing, thumbnails, and community posts, it’s super easy to burn out and not upload as often as you like. And that means fewer videos, fewer views, less growth, and honestly, a lower mood. Think of AI as your Robin (and of course, you're Batman) - who actually gets stuff done, and will always go out of its way to produce more work than you expected. At first, you feel buried: “Ugh, I can’t do it all!” But if you hand your AI sidekick a messy piece of work - or scrambled thoughts, and tell it, “Improve this,” it’ll spit back a refined & improved version in seconds. Suddenly you’re not just trying to survive on YouTube - you’re creating high-quality work with time to spare. I even shaved off 8 hours using AI in my most recent video (15 hours total) in comparison to my previous video (23 hours total): I'm creating a system which gets my workflow down to just 10 hours, so I can teach you all how to implement it. The goal is high-quality videos at speed so you can focus on more important things (family, business, health, etc.) - more on that in the future. Slash 20+ Hours with My Simple WorkflowWhat if I told you that you could get 20+ hours back each time you made a YouTube video? That’s exactly what happened to me. And now I have more time to spend with family, friends, building my business, go on holidays & actually sleep in on weekends. If you keep grinding without strategy, you’ll end up exhausted and stuck at 10 videos a year, when you could be making at least 20-50. That’s why I use AI to speed up my workflow, especially when it comes to writing, so I can produce higher-quality videos at a fast rate. Here’s the magic cycle:
Using AI is a continuous learning loop, that helps you improve & refine your skills fast. You fix mistakes faster, your AI sidekick learns your style, you learn from what the AI produces, and BOOM - you’re firing out videos in 10 - 20 hours instead of 30 - 40. Supercharge Your Scripts with ChatGPTScripts aren’t just long-winded notes - they’re your secret retention weapon. Actually, what I’ve learned working at a top YouTube agency is that a killer script keeps viewers glued way more than flashy edits. If your script’s boring and doesn't take people anywhere, people click off, no matter how epic your editing is. That’s why you’ve probably seen people with just a whiteboard or a webcam & screen recording blowing up on YouTube. But I love using ChatGPT to help me create high-quality scripts at speed. It’s been one of the key things that’s helped me improve my scriptwriting over the past few yearyears saved me hours of work on each video. Here are some of my favourite prompts to use for scriptwriting: Prompt #1 - Writing the Hook ChatGPT, I would like you to come up with 10 different hooks for this YouTube video. It needs to grab my Avatar in right from the start. It can be a question hook, story hook, statement hook, or statistic hook. But feel free to use any kind of hook you like. It just needs to be super intriguing and grab my Avatars attention and make them want to keep on watching the video. Here's my draft script for context: Paste draft script (optional) Prompt #2 - Writing the Structure for a Video Hey ChatGPT, I'm working on the script for a video. You’re going to help me with the script & structure for my next YouTube video which tells people how to [X]. This is my current draft script, it's far from complete, but can you help me start to put together a structure that will maintain intrigue and provide value throughout. I'm aiming for my video to be [X] minutes long, which is around [X] words. Feel free to ask me questions throughout the script like [AVATAR NAME] would, and questions [AVATAR NAME] would ask in relation to what I've said, they've got to be common pain points so that I can help give him the answers he need - these will act as prompts for me to write more value These questions shouldn't be FOR [AVATAR NAME], they should be as though they're FROM [AVATAR NAME], for me to write more value. You should act as [AVATAR NAME] when writing these prompt questions Paste draft script Prompt #3 - Improving Sections of the Script Help me improve my [script] for retention, interest and to provide as much value as possible. I want you to still keep my tone of voice e.g. with the words 'basically' 'actually' 'so' '. But' and so on. Please follow the why/what framework we've discussed in other conversations. Also incorporate the problem, amplify, solution framework where applicable. And write this as though you're 12–14 years old; if you need to break the rules I’ve laid out to write something more valuable or interesting that’s guaranteed to keep my avatar watching, then please do so. For each lesson in the [script], please follow this structure: Why It Matters: Begin by explaining why this lesson is super important for someone like the viewer. Provide a compelling reason or benefit that makes the viewer feel, “Wow, I really need to stick around for this!” This section should connect emotionally or practically with the viewer’s needs or challenges. What the Lesson Is: After explaining the importance, introduce the actual lesson. Rather than just stating it plainly (e.g., “Lesson one is X”), tell the lesson through a story, a cool metaphor, or in your own unique style. Use vivid language or an engaging narrative that makes the content memorable and encourages the viewer to learn more. ChatGPT, here is the draft section of the [script]: Paste section of script Other Cool Ways to Use ChatGPTBut if you only use ChatGPT for scripts, you’re leaving so much awesome AI power on the table. Your channel isn’t just about writing scripts that help you present to camera, it’s a whole world of words, newsletters, sales pages, thumbnails, and posts for your community tab. If you don’t level up every corner, you’re kinda like Superman who only uses his super strong blow to knock down bowling pins, and never thinks to use his laser eyes, super strength, or ability to fly. Think of ChatGPT as a Swiss Army knife (which actually reminds me of that film called Swiss Army Man with Daniel Radcliffe - watch it if you wanna see Daniel get used as a human speedboat… yeah it’s mental). ChatGPT can do 100,000s of different things to help you with your day-to-day life. But I love using ChatGPT for lots of things on YouTube, including:
If you haven’t yet integrated ChatGPT into your workflow, then get it implemented asap, especially if you want to grow faster on YouTube. Be Care - Keep It Authentic! The thing is, AI’s fingerprints are super easy to spot. If you drop in a phrase like “Here’s the kicker,” most viewers are smart enough to sniff out AI and leave. Which means less trust, fewer views, and all your hard work goes to waste. So, when working with AI, first, spot the giveaway phrases, like:
If what the AI produces doesn’t sound like you, remove it and rewrite it. You can also Google or ask ChatGPT to find common words and phrases it uses. Next, ask ChatGPT to tweak your own words instead of writing from scratch. Feed it your draft writing and ask ChatGPT to improve it from there. You can add the following prompt to your existing prompt: "ChatGPT, I want you to keep my tone of voice e.g. with the words 'basically' 'actually' 'so' '. But' and so on." Then you’ll want to swap out any AI words/phrases for stuff you’d actually say, like “Wanna” or “Gonna” or “Basically” This helps the AI voice hide behind your real voice. The final thing, after using ChatGPT, I like to make my writing sound more authentic. This step is simple, I’ll just add extra sections or words & re-write what ChatGPT has produced - using ChatGPTs work as a foundation for the next stage of my writing. I just use AI to improve my work, not do my work. Then I tweak it from there. The Best New AI Tool for ThumbnailsIf you can’t get people to click, nobody watches. Over the past month I’ve been using one of the coolest, if not the best, AI tool out there at the minute. It creates high-quality thumbnails in seconds & actually helped to improve the CTR of my most recent video. I basically found this new one‑click AI thumbnail wizard, and I swear, it’s you'll have used to date. You feed it your own images of yourself, type in a quick prompt - and in a few seconds, you’ve got a thumbnail that looks exactly like you, but as though a pro had designed it. It's so good my wife actually thought it was a legit photo of me. The best thing about it is that it cost me under $5 to create 3 different AI Image bots & generate over 140+ images in the past month. It’s literally a tiny fraction of the price of Photoshop, but does the work 3600x faster (no, I’m actually not kidding, I did the math). You can check the video out here (you won’t regret watching it). Keep Creating, P.S. There are only 2 spots this month for my 1:1 YouTube growth calls for the rest of April. To snag your place, book your call here(I'll help you grow on YouTube & reach your goals faster; if I don't, 100% money back guaranteed). |

Lights. Camera. “Holy moly, I’m about to record my first YouTube video!” My very first video wasn’t shot in a fancy room with perfect lighting - it was recorded in a gloomy corridor lit by fluorescent tubes outside a block of toilets. I hit record, spat out a few words about my channel vision, and uploaded it. What felt like a 30-second clip ended up feeling like 30 hours of nerve-wracking madness. But after I’d done it, I knew my future was about to change forever. My Big Challenge I’ve...
